faqs
The saw is not cutting;
- Check the engine power and speed(rpm).
- Make sure the saw is unbinded; if not work the saw after using a soft abrasive on the surface of the saw.
- Check the fitting and compabıility of the saw and the machine/machine slot.
Too much jolting/kickback during cutting;
- Make sure that the material that is being cut is fixed firmly to the workbench.
- Make sure the saw is unbinded; if not work the saw after using a soft abrasive on the surface of the saw.
- Check the fit of the saw radius and the flange radius, and make sure that they are compatible.
- Check the main shaft.
- If jolting is present in both ways of revolution, decrease the tension on the saw.
- Check the compability between the saw and the material-to-be-cut.
When feedrate is increased, the current gets too high;
- Control linear speed.
- Check the accordance of engine power and saw radius.
- Check cutting speed.
- Decrease cutting depth.
- Make sure the saw is unbinded; if not work the saw after using a soft abrasive on the surface of the saw.
Lifespan of the saw is too short;
- The saw's segments may be too soft for the material that is cut; change the saw accordingly.
- Cooling may be inefficient. Check the amount of cooling water.
- Cooling water may be contaminated wıth dirt or chips or granule; check the water.
- The saw may be experiencing extreme jolting.
- Engine power and rpm may be too high.
There is fracture on the saw;
- If there is a fracture on the body of the saw, drill a 5mm radius hole at the end of the fracture.
- If there are multiple fractures on the body of the saw, control the saw tension.
The segments get cracked;
- The saw is not compatible with the material. Change the saw with an appropriate one.
The segments are overworn in both sides;
- Check the tension on the saw.
- The segments on the saw may be too short to do the needed cuts. Use an appropriate saw model.
Diamond Saw Segments are overworn in both sides;
- Check the tension on the saw.
- The segments on the saw may be too short to do the needed cuts. Use an appropriate saw model.
Diamond Saw Segments have abrasion in its middle part;
- The cooling water may be inefficient.
Diamond Saw Segments have abrasion on one side only;
- Due to mechanical issues on the machine tools, there may be a problem on the saw rotation.
- Perform the horizontal stability control of the saw.
- Make sure that cooling water reaches both sides of the saw equally.
- Check whether both sides of the flange are equal.
- Check the tension on the saw.
The segments and cam are overworn;
- There may be radial runout on the main shaft.
- The saw hole may be overworn also.
There is jolting on the saw, and the tension vanishes;
- There may be friction between the saw body and the subject stone.
- The saw body may be overheating; check the cooling water.
- Control the flanges.
- The diamond segments may be too hard for the subject stone; check compatibility.
- There may be a problem wıth the power engine and rpm. Arrange accordingly.
